  1. i suggest that you use a door instead of a body shadow for the size comparisons

    humans come in different sizes but a door is usually 210cm and is always available anywhere you can see a building for comparison.. you can actually use a human standing in the door.

  2. Make option to different grid layouts.

    Like 2nd, 4th, 6th, etc... line of blocks start with half papper.
    And give us option to edit grid position and angle.
    Like centering the point of imege to center of sheet.
    Also 45degree poster would be nice..

  4. decrease minimum grid size

    i think, it would be nice if the minimum grid size could be set to values smaller than 3mm.

    I really like the high contrast that comes from half/toning of "rasterizing" the image and i would like to apply this also in application, where the "poster" is viewed from such a small distance that 3mm grid size is simply to small.

    thanks in advance, if you could make this possible. Also, if the code was free or i could help contributing this, i would be flattered.

  5. Add a color option for the "Rasterbation" style that is "color by size"

    This feature would help those that are using your rasterbator to create templates for other projects (like this: http://imgur.com/account/favorites/qEpis). It would be nice to apply a color gradient against the scale of the sizes of the circles in the rasterbation so that it is easy to judge how big or small a circle is without having to measure it.

  7. Allow output as an Excel file or a table that lists circle sizes and grid locations.

    This suggestion is similar to the "Color by size" suggestion below.

    "This feature would help those that are using your Rasterbator to create templates for other projects ( like this: http://imgur.com/gallery/qEpis ) ...so that it is easy to judge how big or small a circle is without having to measure it."

    No measuring would be needed in this case as the circle sizes would be listed.

    Using a text based file would eliminate the need for a finite number of sizes that would be needed in order to match each size to a different color in the above suggestion.

  8. Commercialize it!

    Offer a service similar to fotomoto.com, whereby I could offer my photographs up for sale in rasterbated form! Users could click on a link under a photo on my blog, which would take them to the rasterbation program, but in this case, they would pay for the downloaded PDF, and you could split the profits with the photographer.

  10. Add batch processing for video/timelapse

    I'd love to use the rasterbator for my video work - However, going through the process with as many frames as needed is way to time consuming. It would be cool if there would be a batch processing function were I could upload 100-300 jpegs and get all of them rasterbatored in the same way. Possible?

  12. Allow saving of project midway/register system

    Would be great to have a login that allowed saving the project during each phase. The site currently freezes up for me at various points and would be nice to not have to screenshot my settings and then refresh and repeat.

    My observations indicate that dots arranged at angle of 45 degrees are more pleasing to the eye.

  17. Add support for SVGs or increase max image size

    The limit for image dimensions is 4096x4096. That seems like a lot when you're viewing it on a screen but for paper you need a ridiculous number of pixels if you want it to look good. Adding support for vector image formats or just increasing the max image size (make it huge like 2^16) would make this tool much more useful for me.

  18. Add option for grid overlay on final image

    Hi. Love the site and functionality! I've used this for printing out large Dungeon and Dragons maps for my campaigns. It would be AMAZING if one of the options allowed for adding a grid to the image of YxY pixels/inches/centimeters.
