Simply enlarge image to multiple pages without filters or effects
it automatically locked the photo I uploaded with a filter, but I just wanted the original photo because all the filters made my poster blurry.

Include a bleed (or overlap) to all generated pages
The border for trimming out the rasterbation is nice, but requires exact precision. If the images could include a bleed so that you could cut off the white space, and the printed part would overlap with the next image, say by 1/8" to 1/4" (3mm - 6mm), it would allow for easier cutting and less necessity of perfection in the cuts.
25 votesBleed/overlap is now available!
I’m a bit unsure about the PDF metadata (“trim box” and “bleed box”) so I’d appreciate if anyone knowledgeable about that stuff could confirm that they are done the right way.

Allow us to have non-pixelated images as well.
It'd be great if you expanded the design palate to more options. It'd be really cool to be able to print the source image in giant size, with more effects as well.
6 votesYou can already do this by selecting Mosaic in Phase 4 and choosing a relatively small grid size.

Output style presets
Rasterbator can create a very wide range of different appearances if you play around with the settings and have some knowledge on how it works.
Therefore, a page that shows different output settings for posters with example images would be useful. Users could click them and rasterbation would start with these settings in place so they would be applied to the image the users provide.

Display a preview of the rasterbated image
It never displays what the image looks like put together, and would help deciding which colors to use/ dot size
46 votesThere it is! I think the preview feature turned out quite nice, hope you agree!

add a back button after download
If for whatever reason you aren't happy with your 'rasterbation' after you've downloaded and had a look, a back button would be pretty helpful to change dot size or dot colours etc etc as apposed to starting over and re uploading your image
55 votesYou can now go back from the final phase and modify the poster.

Add possibility to crop image
Once the image is uploaded, it would be nice if it could be cropped in-place. This would make it easier to accommodate to specific page sizes, create a poster with specific dimensions or to get nicer compositions.
58 votesAdobe Creative SDK image editor is now included in Rasterbator – you can crop the image with that. Lauch the editor by clicking “Edit image” from top right.
-
Add position in small font to corner of each page
It would be easier to assemble the posters if the papers included their row and column positions

User-definable page margin
Not many printers can print to the entire page area. If users could define page margin for their own printer, they would be able to make very accurately sized posters.
21 votesUser-definable page margin is now available, also bleed/overlap.

Background color
Possibility to define background color for extra pop art touch

Add color picker to custom color input
When users click the custom color, they should be able to pick up the color from a photoshop-like selection tool instead of copypasting html color codes from the Wikipedia page.
